My Old New Life

HELLO WORLD! I'm Mark. I'm 58 yrs old and "Believe It or Not!" (Robert Ripley, 1929), I had never read a Blog until this week, and this is my first attempt to post one. You'll soon realize that as you read on. I'm doing this as a class assignment for  English 101. After spending 35 years working all around the country as an industrial electrician, I never would have thought that I would be going "Back to School" (Rodney Dangerfield, 1986). I decided to return to school mostly to prevent my brain from turning into mush. I prefer to try and stay as sharp as I can for as long as I can. That's not going to happen sitting in front of a TV watching old movies. I go every morning to a fitness center for about 2 hours in an attempt to stay physically fit as well. Occasionally I get a chance to go drown some worms in some of the local fishing spots. Went to Payson, AZ., last weekend to do just that. I've also been known to have spent a few afternoons at Turf Paradise showing others how not to bet on the ponies. I have a son that lives in the area which is why I decided to move here last year. That's my favorite thing to do, just spend some time with him. I don't have much else to tell you about myself at this time, Blog to ya soon.
